EDU1FR Series: For FAB & RAF Screwdrivers

The FAB & RAF Series Screwdrivers both require an EDU1FR style controller. The controller provides an electronic control circuit that cuts the power supply to the motor as soon as the pre-set torque has been reached.


These control units feature maintenance free state-of-the-art electronics with no wearing components and a circuit design suitable for lever start and push-to-start drivers as well as protection against current overload up to 10A. This design results in very low current to the drivers start switch and clutch switch to extend the life of the screwdriver indefinitely.

The EDU1FR/SG adds IO to the EDU1FR for driver on, clutch fire (driver off) and remote start.

The EDU1CL/FR is our lowest cost controller. This unit has the RPM controls removed from the cover plate of the standard EDU1FR and the control box is supplied without paint.

The ACE screw counter is a process control system that monitors the fastening assembly process. It tracks, in real time, the fastening of each screw in an assembly, then notifies the result. It keeps a summary of good and complete assemblies as well as of bad and incomplete ones throughout the production day.
