Pneumatic assist: (air tools)

This option replaces the standard tension springs supplied with the PS1 torque arm with two air cylinders (torque arm purchased separately). One air cylinder acts as the spring balance, with adjustable tension. The other air cylinder provides up to 5 Kilo (11 lbs) of force.

The air control system works as follows:

Applying downward force on an air tool: In this configuration the incoming air supply and the electric tool are contacted to a control box. The control system monitors the air pressure, when a pressure drop occurs, due to the tool starting, the air to the balancing cylinder is shifted to the force cylinder and downward force is applied to the tool. The force is adjustable by a regulator.

Price does not include the arm.
