Pluto 03CA Torque Range: 2.6 to 26.5 in/lbs
Unique features of this model:
- In-line aluminum body style
- Remote start/stop/reverse
The Kolver CA Series incorporates the PLUTO (PLUs TOrque) DC-controlled electric screwdriver design, supplied in a in-line aluminum housing with remote start for fixture mounting applications. The DC motor and solid state controls of the PLUTO are ideal for automated high volume/duty applications.
The PLUTO operates by setting a torque and RPM profile on a controller, validated back to a separate transducer or torque tester. As a result a controller is necessary for the tool to operate (purchased separately).
The torque profile includes the following parameter steps (units available for single and multi-torque applications):
- slow start
- adjustable speed
- soft or hard joint option
- high speed rundown
- slow speed tightening to manage the moment of inertia
- automatic reverse at cycle end
- elapsed time auto-stop
IO included for torque reached signal and lever signal, remote start and reverse contacts

NOTES:
- The heavy-duty cables and connectors, developed for robotic applications, are made of antistatic dissipative material for a safe use in ESD environment.
- This tool has no start/stop controllers on the tool, it requires signals from the controller to operate.
